Anyone have the RE Amemiya rear finisher cover?
Yeah I know you can black out the lights yourself or get the 99 spec covers, but this is kinda cool. Anyone have it? Your opinion?
Thanks, Scott

I don't like it cause it really doesn't look stock at all. Granted, if you go with a body kit then your car won't look stock either, but that thing is just ugly in my opinion. However, the 99 style (homemade or real) look MUCH better, and you will not be disappointed. Looks very stock and very nice.

I think it looks ok, it isn't a really clean look so you would need a full kit to compliment it. And of course about the only kit that would go with it would be a RE kit...

I think the do-it-yourself 99spec taillights are the way to go

This is the only car I've seen with it and I thought it was pretty slick.

I think it looks pretty good. Well, at least on the second picture where it's actually painted. And I agree, definitely need a bodykit to go with it. But if it's just stock, then no dice.
And someone shoot the person who owns that first FD with the ricer spoiler!!!! :p

i think this piece looks hella nice.....only if you paint it black. then it will look stock exept for a bigger lip and round lights. the lip is very subtle, and i like it. i dont understand why you guys are saying you need a body kit to go along with it.
but ya, if you paint this piece to match your body color, then that is

the purpose of this unit is not to immitate 99 style lights, but to add a small subtle spoiler to the back of the car. it keeps the stock look of the car.

I had it on my silver FD and it looked good. I got it when it 1st came out and got alot of compliments on it.
Also.....mine is for sale......painted black. I put the Veilside wing on last year and just have the rear finisher sitting in my garage. I am posting the only pic I have with it on that I can find.

Don't like it. It hides that strip of light/reflector that joins the two tail lights. I recon the the long sleek tail light that spans across the rear end makes the 3rd gen sexy as hell!
