Anybody try the "O-Ring Fix" on their FD?
Well I either have a leak somewhere in my cooling system or my o-ring(s) are going bad. After my 45-55 minute commute to and from work, I can hear the gurgling under the coolant fill cap and my car is loosing about 1/2 cup of water after the same said commute. I do get a little bit of whiteish smoke in the morning, but both the FDs that I've owned have done that to a certain extent (my current has 97k on the original engine), but as mentioned in a prior post, my car is getting hard to start. I plan on getting a cooling system pressure tester to see if it's a leak in one of the hoses, but I've prepared myself for the worst.
Given that it's probably an o-ring problem, and given the fact that I'd like to, at a minimum, drive my car through the summer (it get's downtime during the winter anyways). I like to give the O-Ring Fix that's on Steve's site a try. But before I do, I'd like to hear from anybody whose tried it on their FD...
Thanks!

It's a temporary fix/bandaide. It's worked longer for other people but they haven't put as many miles as I have. You should use the alumaseal stuff instead of the copper stuff, especially if you have an aluminum radiator.
