Anybody have the CWC/CWR intercooler duct?
I want to compare... I got mine last week but when I tried to install it, it looks like the ducting is reversed... like a dyslexic made it.

I had to trim the heck out of it to fit. It's long to begin with so a few inches off the front is required. But it's also a trim on 2 of the 4 sides - top and driver side, IIRC.

Thanks for posting the pictures HedgeHog.
It is the same ducting... it just looks like it would fit better into the front opening of the car if it was mounted upside down but with the inlet sweep to the left instead of the right.
Duane finally got me the ducting... after TWO years.
Is the GB ducting a copy of CWC's?

Again... thanks go out to everyone.
Very nice write up. I had already cut away some of the bumper support and lowered the radiator to get more air into the front of the engine bay. So now all I have to do is relocate the front relay and trim the ducting.
Also I mounted my AST on one of the hose clamps for the intercooler. I put the T bolt clamp horizontal and then slid the AST bolt hole over it and then another nut to secure the AST into place.

Cheuk in Seoul,
Bro I noticed your in Seoul, Korea. I currently have an FD and my girlfriend and I will be moving to Korea sometime in the near future. Did you have to go through a lot of trouble getting your FD shipped there? Any FD's in korea? I wouldnt think so, a lot of hyundai's and daewoos, huh? Thanks Cheuck for your time.

Nathan,
Getting the car shipped here is not that difficult. Cost me $1400 from Atlanta.
But if you are not military/diplomat, the car will have to undergo standard Korean registration. Which means exhaust testing.... RX-7's have a hard time passing.... they use the California standards. Some have passed but it required some ECU tweaks and disabled turbos. Also there is an instant 40% import duty on cars for non military/diplomat.
There are about 200 FD's in Korea. Many get by with temporary tags that they renew every handful of months. Only three are Left hand drive, all the others are J spec.
