Ive seen about 3 FDs during the last year in the Seattle metro area. Everytime I drive her someone will wait in the parking lot or approach me to talk me about the car and Ive had a couple follow me into a store to ask about the car. Usually the younger crowd knows what kind of car it is and the older crowd usually asks if its a new production model (understandable since the car is pretty much new and in perfect flawless condition inside and out). On the road there arent many that dont take a second look or stare. My dad says it looks like it going fast just sitting in their driveway. My mom says she liked how fast her RX2 or 3 was and then asks if my FD is fast. haha. Everybody wants to race, yesterday it was a 300zx turbo and a wrx sti. Even without the fast and furious exposure these cars would garner a lot of attention.
How many are left, good question. I know that Ive got one of a handful of near perfect, extremely low mileage vehicles. I treasure this car and it drives my girlfriend crazy and make me smile ear to ear everytime I drive her.
