Any light weight seat sliders/mounts out there?

I'v been considering the purchase of a set of racing seats that only weigh 11 lbs each. Also considering the options to mount them to the FD. The primary motivation is to save weight over my Touring leather seats that I had measured at 35 lbs each, including the sliders/tracks.

When I took out the driver seat I also took off the sliderassembly to check the weight. They are 9+ lbs each. So, if I re used them with the racing seats, also added some more metal for the side mount, I'd be looking for a total seat assembly weight of probably 22-23 lbs for a net weight savings of less than 13 lbs per seat. That does not make me feel like it is worhwhile. My goal is to knock off 40 lbs total.

So, I am thinking of making my own non adjustable seat mounts, hopefully less than 5 lbs each or, if anyone knew of one that is of similar weight and can be purchased.

I don't know for sure that I can make a stong mount less than 5 lbs. I had made them before for my first FD but, those racing seats were bottom mount, which required a lot less metal.

BTW - Yesterday I had my FD on the scale. With 7 gallons of fuel in the tank it weighted 2780 lbs. About what I expected.
