Any Interest in Custom Designed Subwoofer Enclosure for FD

I am designing a sub enclosure to replace the bose speaker system in my 93 touring. Just wondering if there is any one interested in a unit other than myself. I have some acoustic engineering background so the enclosure will be acoustically correct. It will be of 3/4 in. MDF and will sit under the rear strut tower brace using the bose mounting bolts and will be removeable with 2 wingnuts for whatever reason like track days or autocross. It will be a ported enclosure and I am probably going to have front facing 2 way speakers to add rear sound to the bose cars and upgrade the sound of the R! or base models. Probably have a volume around 1 cubic foot and use an 8" woofer and 2 smaller two ways. The power will be from a 3 ch output amp, and the unit will require an aftermarket head unit. I also could design a uint using the stock bose wiring , amp, and sub woofers by removing them from the wave uint and testing thier T+S parameters. I have decided to go the first route unless people tend to want to use the bose wiring and head unit instead of aftermarket.

Also: Do the base model cars or R1 cars have the mounting studs in the rear or are they only added in the touring?

Even better...here's a thought. How about placing it in the Interior/Exterior/Audio section, where it *should* be?

The above sub enclosure is pretty much exactly what I was talking about. Guess someone beat me to it. At least I know it works. S for the audio section, The enclosure is specifically for the FD, it was aimed to ask FD drivers for input so I don't see a reason to put it in the audio section where I will have fewer FD owners to give feedback, but whatever happens, happens.

just read most of that other post and the two enclosures would be very similar, the only differences being that the one I am constructing would be designed around a specific woofer in order to optimize frequency response and sound pressure levels, also the plan to include two front firing two way speakers.
I also want to give credit to DamonB for the original. I had planned on using most of the same parts like the black vinyl to cover the box. I also use www.partsexpress.com for my supplies.
I noticed his post is in the 3rd gen. forum also.
