If single pump fails system doesn't work, if one of dual pumps fails, bye bye engine! Is this correct?

thats just the risk you run when you require multiple fuel pumps.
try the aeromotive stealth 340 for a single. if it held 550rwhp in my 370z with E85... surely it could handle 450whp with gasoline on a rotary??? at least try it.. if you run out of fuel before the end of tuning then add another pump and continue on. or put two on a hanger so youre ready and if you never need the second then its your aux pump

I wanted to post a correction. Earlier in this thread I stated that the CJM secondary rail will not mount with a stock primary rail. Today that was test fit and the combination was very compatible. We also tested a stock secondary with CJM primary, and while pretty close, that fit as well. These combinations worked with the CJM rails at height for both 60 and 48mm injector bodies. 48mm injector body height mounts for the CJM rails are not available for purchase yet but will be shortly. This should save a little cost for those purchasing ID injectors for use with our rails, as you will no longer need the the ID injector extensions to emulate the 60mm injectors that used to be more popular.

Why? 420WHP on my car for many years and many many track days with zero problems. How much power are supra guys running on their stock pumps?

That's good to know because I've read conflicting reviews but general opinion seems to be using dual pumps or Bosch Motorsport pump when reaching mid-high 400s. It is always safer to overdo the fuel system. I'll probably use single Supra pump for now and I think it will be OK.

Our phone number is always provided in all correspondence and paperwork for our customers that have immediate technical questions, require support, or have questions concerning a pending order. For sales, we intialize contact via the internet. We will either reply promptly (including the phone number) or call the customer if its more appropriate.
We understand that this process may be intially frustrating to some consumers, but it is a matter of time management.

its actually just a length adjustment to the spacers that mount the rail. we will make a batch of them when we do our next batch of rails, or whenever someone needs to order it that way, whichever comes first!

I cant speak for the CJ. But the KG parts primary rail has one problem that led me to have to machine the "feet" that bolt to the center iron. They are not designed so that you can get the plug on or off the injectors. My injector plugs have a wire on them that you have to depress in order to remove the plug. That wire and the plug hit the "feet" dead on. I had to machine recesses into them in order for the plugs to even be installed. That and the way that the feet attach to the rail leaves a LOT to be desired. Very small allen head tapered screws. Pretty sketchy if you ask me. I would have done things COMPLETELY different if i had designed them. Its just a matter of time before those wiggle loose unless you use locktite on them. Kinda thinking about picking up the CJ kit. I'm really not impressed with my kg kit. Even fittings that i got for the fuel lines were complete crap. I dont know how those would have fit under the intake manifold with how they sent the fittings. I had to re-buy almost every fitting. Also they didnt ship the tapered aluminum inserts for the center iron when i got my kit. That could have been a big problem. Just really felt like they didnt put any effort into it. Any of it.

KG Rails have been around for years and used on probably a thousand RX-7's. I have sold hundreds of those rails over the years and use them in some of our kits. I have had very few complaints about them. I have also used them on 3 of my RX-7's with no issues. They aren't the prettiest rail on the market but they work fine if installed correctly.
I'm sure there are a couple out there that might have a manufacturing issue but the majority of them don't have problems.

they all do the same thing, if you think about it its such a basic non mechanical piece. anyone with a good lathe and drill press could make these. IMO its all in the tolerances, which the KG parts works perfect for me.
it really is just a statement how big your pockets are............hahah (mine are tiny)

The 48mm versus 60mm is really just a matter of mounting distance of the rail... so there should be no changes required to any rail for the FD that I have seen to accomodate a 48mm injector without top hats... just a matter of lowering down the rails. This can be done be either cutting short your rail mounts, or requesting shorter ones from your rail manufacturer.
If there is anyone who currently owns our rails, and would like a set of 48mm mounts, just send us an email to sales@cj-motorsports.com, or have Jason at RX7store contact us, and we will get you swapped out. The option has now been added to the website.

Aftermarket rails for most vehicles typically come in 2 flavors... those based on generic fuel rail extrusion, and those that are billet machined. Extruded rail material is just cut to length with the bore already in it, only requiring to add the injector bosses, tap the ends, and tap some mounting bracket bosses. A billet rail takes some time in a CNC, which is of course a very expensive machine, so therefore costs a little more. The only advantage to a billet rail is that it leaves the manufacturer room to get a little application specific with the rail, to make it more nicely accomodate the platform... and a little more space to play with the cosmetics and mounting feature.

"Any news of your secondary rail completion?"
Still looking at about a month out. We will be offering the FD secondary in 48mm and also 34mm length for ID2000's which will fit with the stock ACV.
