You've done stuff so much the right way that you ended up with respect and I'd guess some good friends through it instead of just some victims/customers. If you sold the bushings for $13,000 a set I'd call them victims (as my guestimated say 20x markup is on this product, we'll guess it costs them $25 to machine a pair of the plugs). Bushings for $2-3k a set they would have been customers. Instead with the way you've done things I'm sure a lot of people on this forum would be more than happy to help you out now in a jam if you asked or they noticed you might need it.

homie the day you actually do work is the day you stop posting here on the forums every fourteen seconds.

I am surprised you aren't canned by now.

you do not have these on your car. your knowledge of this product is pure guessing and does not come from personal experience. i.e. "my friends friend said that these work great and once i heard that my other cousins brothers friend pulled his trailing..wait..maybe it was my sisters friends cousin..."

how bout getting one of those plugs and putting it in the hole in yer face. Im sure there are plenty of customers here on the forums who would shell out the cash for that. After all, if these dont work, they still have a use for you.

as far as the people who actually KNOW about the product...POST THE DYNO SHEETS....afr's...timing maps...all of it. if the price is fair, and the product works...great.

spoautos...personally, I am going to wait for you or one of steve kans customers cars to have this done before I can decide whether the info is just smoke up the ya know what or if its fact. there are too many people like batman who are ballyhooing about it without any real knowledge and thus facts have become dilluted because of misinformation, guessing and basic retardation. god knows that these cars dont take to guessing and misinformation very well.

How do you run 15 psi with the stock ecu when you hit fuel cut at 12-13 psi?

hahaha

busted...a great example that there is way too much misinformation in this thread coming from a particular technically inept person. There is a reason that guy who said that has lost six motors.

I know for a fact that Batman did NOT know what the mod was until Steven spilled the beans. He has only been in conversation with Skip. Hes does not have any ties with him despite his claims. Not trying to flame. Just trying to kill some of the b.s.

I was one of the first cars with the mod. Remember, I started a post on it way back in the fall of last year.

I have a version of the mod that sits in front of the spark plug. Do any of you want to see a pix?

And now i guess I can talk about it since the cat is out of the bag. You still want to tune for 14.7:1 off boost as you normally would for cruising, then into the high 12's at light boost, then even it off at 12.0:1 from 8 pounds up.

Keep one other thing in mind and correct me if I am wrong, FD waste spark, do FCs? If FCs do not waste spark, then there may be tuning issues due to not having that waste spark to help clean things out.

Jim, maybe you or Ted can put some good input on this. I was thinking the other day that maybe the trailing combustion helps push the rotor into the exhaust stroke? The leading burns most of the fuel and as the that face of the rotor heads into the exhaust stroke the trailing creates a second explosion to help it around? Make sense?

But maybe it would be a good idea to pay KDR for the mod and have them tune the car for optimal use of it? My roommate has an FD with the mod and a power FC. he knew what the mod was but paid Dave for it anyway, installation of, and tuning on the dyno.

I'm sick of looking at pages....I can't even read them...Its the same crap over and over. Here is what I have learned:

1. The masses have determined price is high. And my old History Teacher says "THE MASSES ARE ASSES"

2. No Data, comments from actual users, or Dyno have been provided proving anything as a working and Tested.

3. This thread has became a bitch fest.

4. I will have to point out im interested in the product "if" it works, and I think all of us are who don't have emission standards in there state. Even the haters, BS claimers are interested whether they'd like to admit it.

So I hope that I can draw a line for all of us interested in the results from Jason.

Nothing goes below this line that isn't tested information proving for or against this product (must include a detailed description of what all the variables were and what the results were). If you want to bitch, start a new thread labeled "Why I think the Detonation Plug is BS"
