It is possible with the newer injectors available now, yes.

2. Fine particle size will not always get you controlled burn. An analogy can be seen with grain silos explosion. They are caused by fine dust particle in the air and an inadvertent spark. That's why you also add aluminum flakes to explosive to increase its power.
There's a difference, however; the silo's inner atmosphere isn't compressed to such high levels as it is in a forced induction engine's combustion chamber, and fuel droplets have far different burn characteristics than fine dust particles.

3. Direct injection doesn't have to be in conjunction with compressed air. That's Orbital tech. Mitsu, Audi run direct injection with a preburn chamber at very lean mixture.
Yep, correctomundo, I forgot about them.

Sorry, didn't mean to belabor this subject.

i think we should just all wait till someone gets it on there car and tells us whether they like it or not. We should stop trying to guess what it is, because even if we did figure out what it is, do you honestly think skip is going to come on here and say "you got it, how did you guess it". NO, your perception of what this might be is just going to get passed over by one of these ANTI-anti-detonation device people that flame you for your guess, and tell you "that you are stupid for thinking such a thing might work". So why not just wait, or have friendly conversation, and all hope this miracle product accually works for the sake of our poor engines and bank accounts (or credit card for that matter) instead of having this flame war. Just because there are some people that dont want them to come up with this product for the sake of the fact they might lose some business, doesnt meen you have to come on here and knock skip and KDR for what they are trying to do. So untill you have some real life proof that this thing doesnt work, stop guessing and telling people it wont. Because the only thing that is going to happen is you getting flamed everytime you post something on here if it does work.

Congrats............ here is a cookie for taking the bait.

actualy from my understanding from someone who had first hand extended talk with skip is that this whole *idea* he had came to him in a dream after waking up. this was while his wife had cancer of the brain or something like that. i dont know the details of Skip's life, nor do i need to, or care to get that involved with it. (not that i dont feel for that horible situation)
but *supposedly* it was a "vision" or something like that. when i was told this, all i could think of was the flux capacitor. LOL...
SO, that being said, could this vision be a way to incorperate something that already exists, or is it something COMPLETELY diferent????
