Personally, I think Steven should stop commenting on this, because his rep gets worse and worse by the moment. It was not some elaborate joke he made up--none of us buy that bag of ****. I think we can all tell exactly what happened with him and this product.
In the end, if you are a believer or non-believer in the product--contact Skip or KDR, because that is where the "device" is from. If the product is not worth your money (whatever the cost is or becomes), don't buy it. The market will eventually dictate costs.
Jason, I am not telling you how to run your business (I wouldn't appreciate someone telling me), but I will say that I wouldn't buy the product from you if I knew Steven was your supplier, I would if I knew you worked the details out with Skip. Once again, I am not telling you what to sell, just what I would do as a consumer.

I have heard everything from Ion-Sensing to Buttplugs coming from people who have no on hands experience. What I have not once seen is Skip or KDR post on this forum or any other to confirm or deny the "Anti-Detonation Device" even exists. Why, perhaps their product is still under wraps, perhaps the Buttplugs was a method to throw people off the track, or perhaps pg-unlimited was being used as a marketing ploy to throw a new twist on keeping people interested…..

You are like Bill Clinton on the Monica issue!
But I won't rag on you. You have been getting the worst bashing that I have ever seen on this site. Good luck man. Hang in there!

If this was the real deal you would think the folks up in Japan would have figured it out long ago.

Now I don't know if their race cars detonate easily, I would assume that they don't. Because they know how to tune their $hit.

My FD was bone stock for 108K miles. I never had to worry about a bad tank of gas, nor how hot/ cold it was outside, and whether it was wisel to WOT it. When everything worked as it should the stock computer did it's job nicely.
The biggest problem with the stock engine is heat that's it. Now elimination the trailing spark actually creates more heat so maybe it isn't such a realible mod after all.

In any event, PQ-Unlimited, "Steven", and any store that sells these things will not be getting a dime of my money (for ANYthing) until the facts come out in the wash. PQ-Unlimited won't get any anyway, but that's just because I don't like "Steven"'s attitude.

Yeah i personally am going to go with a zerobanger style kit. I dont see the need for precise water/fuel tuning id get from an Aquamist kit if all im going to use it for is anti-det. But if youre going to go all out, definitely get an aquamist.

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Anti-Det Installed
maybe we can do a standard deviation on the tested date and determined if the product meets or exceeds 6 sigma design? j/k

I have to disagree. The difference between a car with no ignition upgrades and a stock or reprogrammed ECU and a car with an aftermarket ECU and ignition box could be substantial. I don't think that a parallel can be drawn and a fixed percentage applied here. The difference in tuning ability alone should result in far better results for cars with a programmable aftermarket ECU, and an ignition amplifier could mask the inability of a stock ignition to light off enough of the air/fuel charge with a single plug to maintain previous power levels.
Also, the main claim, unless I'm mistaken, was that this modification made it possible to run high boost on low octane fuel without risk of detonation. Implied is that this would primarily benefit cars with stock twins. A single turbo car already has a more efficient compressor and therefore would be less likely to need something like this anyway, and data collected from testing on such a car wouldn't necessarily apply to a pretty heavily modified car with stock twins. Once again, I don't think you can draw a parallel.
I am still puzzled as to why there is so little data available when supposedly there are 60+ test subjects that have had the "device" on their car for some time. The real key to proving that this works is a larger set of test vehicles that cover a wider range of configurations and component combinations.
