See Mahjik's and wickedrx7's posts.

You should easily be able to tell the difference. You can lightly scratch something that's anodized and it will clean right up. Plus, the "grain" of the aluminum is still easily seen. It's not covered up with paint.

He painted the end tanks not the intercooler core so why would it really matter what the cooling properties are being that paint/anodising/etc would make a very little difference in overall cooling at that location?

Yeah, I was just curious, not digging. It seemed odd that you could actually do anodizing for $42 and do flake colors. But for an aluminum paint kit that's still decent. Glad it worked out in the end

Anodizing is pretty reasonably priced. At least compared to other finishes, with the exception of powdercoating.

the only thing with anodizing is that the guy around me wants a couple hundred dollars for up to 100 pounds of material to anodize. if i had alot more i would have had it done but it not woorth it for the small amount i had..... and thanks guys for the complements
