imo, they will only look good on round headlights like RE, east bear. I havent seen a real pic of a rx-7 with the angel eyes. They might look good, you dont know. You have to see it. And if they turn out that bad there is a method to take them off. So it would't hurt to try these angel eyes.

Those do look pretty cool... But I think the rice version of these would be neon ones... Just like the exhaust tip and fluid things..

on www.omnitecmotorsports.com the price is $349 plus shipping. They say they fit on the BMW E36 and E46. But im guessing by the style of the E36/E46 lights that these angel/demon eyes can fit on the sleek style lights for the RX-7.

Yea it's hard to tell exactly if the E36 or the E46 are any different. Both pics of the kits look the same to me.

Mind you tho that even tho these might fit on a sleek light kit, they they also appear to have a sloight defect. A part of the filliment curves in. The problem here is that on an FD, most of the entire light is shown and you wont get that 'full' angel eye effect because instead of a circle, onbe would see an 'almost circle'. Of course this isn't a problem on the BMW's since you can't see that part anyways plus the wires from the fillaments need to go somewhere.

Currently no one sells these angel eyes/demon eyes but omnitecmotorsports. There is someone on vw forums (JETIUM) that is making these himself. I will ask him if he can make some for the rx7 sleek lights and see if he can make one without a curve.

He can make the angel/demon eyes for the rx-7 sleek style lights. He just needs the diameter of the lamps and fitment room. Maybe some pics can help show the room. you can email him at Jetium@hotmail.com

This is an email from http://www.omnitecmotorsports.com...

Nick---

The E46 ring has and elongated arm to aid in installation. I believe the
approximate diameter of the ring was 11 and 1/4 centimeters. What appilcation
are you considering?

(And my email to them...)

What's the difference between the E36 and E46?
And what is the inner/outer diameter of the halos?

Thanks,
Nick

I'll email them back and tell them i plan on using 90mm lights but i'm still not sure as to how i would mount them.

BMW lights should stay on BMWs.. just like those gay *** altezza lights should stay on those things..they were kind'a unique till the ricers started thinking "hey i cant afford one.. so let me stick some lights on my civic..i'll be cool" now they are on so many cars and it just cheapened that is300... now everytime i see a is300 it really is annoying now because of all the wanna bees lights out there.. 5 series are distinct with them.. now its going to be put on everything with a round headlight? just buy a bmw.. dont make your car pretend to be one..

where angel eyes belong

you wouldnt want some civic with 99 style rx7 lights in the back mounted sideways and graphed the rear .. or have the 93+ bumper lights molded into the front bumper of an integra.. or the side brake ducts molded to the side of an accord (ive seen all of these.. i live in san diego cali.. ricer town)

I personally think the angel eyes are different than altezza taillights. The angel eyes make your lights have a nice look. I would get them because i like them and if you don't like them then dont get them.

you dont need someones approval for mods.

well, part of the whoe appeal of them on the bimmer is that the top is covered by the top "headlight lip", giving them the image of mad eyes at the front of the car. you will get a different look if the round headlights are completely exposed, as in the FD.....

Another email from him...

Nick---

Oh yeah, I have heard about you from some of my dealers. The current kit won't work very well because they are not pliable enough to hold in place. If you are willing to pay, I may be able to have a set custom made for you. You would be the only one to have them. Would you be interested in that?

Regards,
Bruce

-- Original Message --

I am custom mounting the halos in a Sleek light (non-pop up) in a RX-7, the driving lights are 90 mm and I am not yet sure as to how I would mount them. Any thought(s) you might have would be helpful.

Thanks again,
Nick

Well guys, if anybody wants to caugh up the dough to try these out heres your change, tell him Nick the guy that wants halos on an RX-7 sent you. His email is bruce@omnitecmotorsports.com

at first i thought they looked kinda ricey but now i look at them as somebody else said true HID's vs. blue lights, i think for 350$ it's a little out of the price range of rice boys. but that's just my 02 cents.

$350 is no where near out of the price range for a LOT of the hardcore show circuit riceboys. if they can afford to put an R34 skyline front end on an accord or S15 headlights on integras (if i ever see one of these in real life i swear im going to go up and kick the car), mold tail lights that dont belong on their car, or get superwide bodykits then of coarse they can afford a pittly little $350 angel eye set.

I know those show-rice boys can afford it but their so gay i don't care if they get it cause it looks like **** on their car and good on mine. Think of it this way... if a rice boy has a front end that looks like your FD front end will you take yours off? no, **** no. you'll kick the guys ***. it's the same with BMW and me... I'm just hoping BMW guys don't kick my ***

Man I say leave it on the bimmers, else pretty soon everyone and their mom will have a set, just look what happened with the altezza lights.. it looked great on the altezza but after seeing altezza's on every other car expecially the eclipses and coupe accords , it looks like crap on the alt now
