Don't touch them dragging your shoes.
C'mon guys ... they are doorsils ... they are meant to take the brunt of the foot traffic instead of your paint ... If they get scratched ... buff them up.

the ones you're looking for are the same ones at mazdaformance.com, they are $134 and change...

good guys over there too... they will take care of you right

I like those CF ones too but I don't think they'd look good in a black on black car (like mine )

atihun, where can I see more more pictures of your car?

You really got my hopes up with that offer. I'm looking for that kind of car (without the mods, though) for that price.

:*(

hehe

Anyone looking to get the scuff plates polished could send them to twinturboteddy. If you decide to do them yourself, be very careful around the Rx-7 letters, as they can snag on the sand paper, buffing wheel, etc. and get all fudged up.

get them from www.mazdaformance.com . I polished mine myself. I recomend taking the letters off, polishing and puting new letters back on.

They are aluminum they just have a coating over them. It's pretty tuff stuff, once you get it off they polish up nice.

TO polish yourself, I used 600 grit to remove coating, then 1000, then 1500. Buffing wheel with tripoli, the buff with white compound. It takes about 5 hours to do. And yes when you close the door they will get scratched and scuffed, that's why they are called scuff plates.

supplies available at http://www.bright-works.com/

MazdaFormance is a Mazda dealer and sells the OEM aluminum ones like every other Mazda dealer. $135 is a very good price. The CF is aftermarket.
