alternator problems?
so last night i am in my rx7 with my air conditioning on, my headlights (i have xenon light), radio, everything. i am in gridlock, so l in neutral and the car is fine. then i shift to 1st and slowly accelarate and then brake because of cars in front of me. As i left the gas pedal, the car's lights, radio, etc,, turn off for a second and then turn on again. it did it a few times.
the thing that is funny is that if i leave it in neutral, i can turn on and off all electric stuff like lights, radio etc... and nothing happens.
could it be problems with my alternator?

Put a meter on the battery and see what kind of voltage you're getting with a full electrical load on. Turn on the stereo, lights, AC, everything - if you see less than 13v at the battery, you've got charging problems.
If you have underdrive pullies, they sometimes can run the alternator REALLY slow at idle, not giving you enough juice to run the accessories. Also, bad electrical connections can also cause a significant voltage drop.
