You mean the AC relay? cause i took mine out so i can run a fan on manually but thats been out since i owned the car and the airpump has always ran normal before.

And i have an update, i bought the connectors and the airpump still doesnt work. Well it does but intermittently. Is the airpump dependent on TPS readings?

Cause my TPS is bad now i think, getting code 12 and 18 which is TPS so maybe thats why the airpump is not turning on when supposed to?

Help me guys please.

The Air Pump (magnetic clutch) is engaged by its own relay in the relay box mounted at the front of the car. The ECU controls the relay and its RPM's that limit its use too under 3500.

I know, i was trying to figure out what else could cause the pump to run intermittently.

The relay is good, or maybe the airpump itself is on its way out? Although its not making any weird noise to make me think that fully.

you must install a resistor so that the stock ecu does not recognize the airpump removed as a malfunction and throw the CEL...once the CEL is thrown it most likely edits the o2 sensor readings for safety

I dont wanna trick my ecu. I just want my airpump to run properly.

The air pump relay is good but still not turning on, it works intermittently but not all the time when under 3k.

What else should i be looking at?

Maybe it's supposed to cycle. I think it depends on throttle engle, engine load, etc.

You're probably right, i just figured its on constantly whenever between idle and 3k or 3500rpm whatever it is.

Just now i noticed its not even coming on, just sometimes.
