all in all, the response is much quicker to temp change and doesn't reach nasty high temps when sitting still. i used to see 60+*c in traffic and now it hasn't been over like 43*. i haven't noticed any real gains in performance yet, but i was bored and it was a fun couple of hours

Heres a trick for you non drillers...
You can go get a 1/2" Rubber Cap at AutoZone. Wth a clamp will hold 15psi + easily. I cut a circle in the hole of the cap, went and got a 10mm Hex Nut with 1.25 pitch and put it inside the cap. I then added sealer and screwed the sensor into the hex nut and tightened it down. No leak.. easy fix with no drilling!
But I have a problem with my wiring.
After making sure all my connections were good and re-doing everything. Im still throwing a code!
Am I missing something here?

I did away with the clip and just soldered the wires onto the sensor. IS that a nono or something?
perhaps my wire gauge is too thick? (all i had was 16 gauge) Do I need to ground anything???
please help so I can drive my car.
I wish I hadnt moved it thus far.

For PFCS users, in one of the sections is an "air vs timing" table. Since the repositioning of the AT sensor makes it run at about 10C cooler, you need to set the temps down 10C on this table in order to keep the same margin of safety.
Also there is an "air vs inj" which will slightly affect AFRs.
Return your AFRs.
