aftermarket bov on stock system & dsm intercooler

My stock bov is leaking and I was just going to replace it with a aftermarket one I have layin around but is there a way to connect it to the stock system? I believe its a blitz bov.

Has anyone tried to use a dsm side mount intercooler? I know there pretty effective on dsms up to 16 psi.

You might need an adapter for the Blitz BOV.

I don't think the DSM intercoolers are any good for our cars. They are smaller than our stock ones.

It depends on the BOV and if it has a flange or not. If you don't have a "kit" for the BOV, you'll probably have to have it welded to an IC pipe. There aren't too many kits that go into the stock BOV location on the FD.

Keep in mind, it's not how much PSI they handle, it's how much air they flow at that PSI that matters.

no actually they are a lot bigger than our stock intercoolers. You would have to chop the end-tanks and make some custom ones, and I really don't think it would be worth your time to do a custom DSM IC set-up. But DSMs can run low 12s and even dip 11s on their stock ICs if I recall correctly. For what they are they flow really well, have a thick core and a good surface area, and sell ridiculously cheap for like 50-100 bucks on DSMtrader.com

So I'll need to just weld a flange any where on the IC piping system? I'd rather not buy hard pipes yet but is there any other metal piping to weld to? I can't really remember off the top of my head. I've only had it for a few days.
I suprized no one did any tests between the stock and dsm intercooler. I know it out preforms the 90 supra front mount intercooler and the 300z's. I'll have to see if I can dig up the flow charts for the dsm. Does anyone have any info for the 7?
