AC blows warm air after car warms up
When I just start driving my FD on a hot day the AC works fine. But after the car is driven for a while the AC blows out luke warm air. Any suggestions on what might be causing this. Also the heat only works from the defrost and floor. Through the vents it blows out cooler air. The floor and defrost work great. I appreciate any help. Thanks.

Yep, fans could be a culprit. The fans are supposed to kick on with the AC on to keep air flowing through the condensor. I would also make 100% sure you're really getting AC - turn the AC on and check the AC compressor under the power steering pump. If the middle part of the pulley is turning, it's engaged and pumping. If the middle part of the pulley is sitting there not turning, the AC isn't kicking on.
Also, the heat by design only comes out on floor and defrost - it's goofy, but it's in the owner's manual.

In many cars there is usually a smaller fan that turns on specifically to help aid cooling of the condenser while the A/C is on. The fan is on the driver's side that is closest to the A/C compressor.

If the magnetic clutch doesn't engage, that can mean many things. First things to start checking are the A/C fuse, and cigarette lighter fuse. If they are good, then that would mean that your A/C pressure switch isn't sensing the correct pressure in the A/C lines. Which usually means an insufficient amount of freon in the system. However, electrical wiring / components can also be at fault.

both fans work together. so you will never see just one fan kick on when the a/c is on. they will both come one.. most vehicles have a sec. fan that just comes on for the a/c but fd's run both at the same time. they should both work when you turn on the a/c and when you temp sensor trips it on to cool the radiator it will go to second speed. .. other vehicles uses 2 fans to work independantly but ours run together and uses different speeds to controle cooling.
