About to throw the fd away

Unfortunately, there is no silver bullet with this type of problem. IMO, I would fix things as they come up. You have run into a couple things which spec out differently than what the manual suggest. I would start by replacing/fixing those until they are within spec and the keep moving through the issues if the problem continues.

the only thing that hasn't been within spec has been the fuel pump resistor (supposed to be 0.5 - 0.7) and I was showing 0.9. Of course, that could be on account that the voltmeter is not as accurate as it should be like a flukemeter

Right, but that still could be the problem. RC uses a varnish solution to clean the injectors, and (especially when they're not immediately installed) they can become stuck open or closed. I would take them out and apply voltage to them to see if they operate properly. Could very well be what's wrong.

But from what I have read, 9.5 volts under idle and light acceleration is Normal...that is what I had. I did comment that I would like to get it higher than that, however, that is a normal range, correct? Rich, I got ya on your post. I missed it...

LoL...just a thought....when you have a problem for so long, you start to second guess everything you have done as if you balled it all up. It idles nice, so i don't believe it is an injector issue from that standpoint.

just an update: tonight I should be plugging in the PFC and using the laptop and datalogit just to make sure nothing looks out of whack. Not going to drive the car on it.

The issue with the RC injectors is a verified fact. It's not just RC, it happens with any company that cleans and flow tests the injs. At the shop Ihor and I verify that each injector cycles before installing them.

Fuel pump - showing 9.5 volts at idle
Pressure - yet to check
Injectors - we new/flowtested cleaned 10 miles ago...haven't rechecked yet.
Fuel filter - New 200 miles ago
Relay - checks out...both do...the fuel pump and circuit relays

Alrighty....so, tonight....my buddy comes over, we connect a PFC and datalogit to the car. Everything as far as sensors were in spec. The one thing we noticed is that the E/L was ON even though there weren't any loads (ie lights, defrost...nothing) Anyways, we started it up on the PFC. It warmed up and idled good...little lopey, but good idle. The issue was lying in the fact that when we were under the hood and revving the throttle, there is a dead spot or cut out between when we push the throttle down and when it actually revs. it is choking basically. So, I am suggesting Vacuum leak or Fuel issue....anyone agree? I am fearing that the lower intake manifold gasket is to blame (it's brand new, just fear it because it is the most work to get at) I am going to test a few options with fuel first like bypass the fuel pump resistor solenoid (the last one on the rack towards the firewall)

Still hard to draw any conclusions without knowing results of a fuel pressure test. It still could possibly an injector issue. When I originally had mine cleaned, they sat for almost a year before they were installed and used. While they didn't leak during my pressure test, the car didn't idle all that well and was not really drivable.

I did this from the ECU connector so I didn't have to pull the injectors and all the associated labor.
I also used a motor stethescope to listen for the pulses on each injector.
