About sleek light kit~

I am a question about these light kits~
Do the rotary extreme light kits use the same size/model of light blub as C wests' do??? And what size/model is it??? I know that the rotary extreme provide hella HID option. I just wonder if this hella HID is the real HID like those in BMW/Benz or it's some H1,3,4,7 conversion kits???

I heard the Rotary Extreme is not as clean or high qualiy as the others. I think it uses the size light bulb as the RE ones.

The Rotaryextreme light kit uses Hella lights in it's kit and are 10x better than the RE kit, they use lights made by IPF

No. Stock bulbs are H4 dual-filament, which means the high and low beams come from the same bulb. RE's kit is dual projectors, one for low, one for high.

the rotary extreme kit is supposedly good. however, it still does not overcome the comppletely flush light with out having to cut metal out of your car.

R.E. also offers the kit in a true HID...

The Hella lights uses the 65W H9 bulbs. H9 is not very common and you cannot find a retro fit for the H9. We do our own HID conversion using the Hella ballast and philips or Osram HID bulbs.

If you have any questions, email me, the maker of the kit.

RE Amemiya new sleek headlight kit is still Halogen which is about $1350. If you want HID, you have to pay another $900-1000. So expect to pay about $2350 for the HID RE Amemiya sleek light kit.

The lights on the new RE Amemiya kit are still sitting too much in the back. I don't see how the new lights can improve lighting if they are still sitting all the way in the back where the wall of the housings block all the light beams.

Got any pictures of the beam pattern of the new H11 RE Amemiya headlight kit? I saw the kit in person at 2002 Tokyo Autosalon but they didn't turn on the headlights at the show.

I am not talking crap about RE Amemiya stuff. I am just talking from my experience when I use the RE Amemiya housings as a model to make my sleek headlight kit. When the lights are sitting all the way in the back, the light beams are blocked by the side of housings so the peripheral lighting is greatly reduced. On my headlight kit, the lights are moved about 4" forward v.s. the RE Amemiya ones and the peripheral lighting is greatly improved.

If you can show me some photos of the new H11 light pattern to prove me wrong, that will be great. I like RE Amemiya products in general but if they release something that does not really have any improvement, I will be very disappointed.
