Thanks!

Looks really good. All that hard work was worth it. I'm too lazy. I just had mine ceramic coated with that cool-chrome stuff. Doesn't look as good as yours but for $50.00 bucks it will do.

I agree with the cost effectiveness of cerma-C parts. Another member here in San Diego had several parts sent out and i have to agree, it's not bad at all. I just happened to have a lot of time on hand and sand paper and time is available in abundant amount here at the office.
thanks guys for the kind comments.

Looks good. Glad to see you were able to polish out the blemish ontop of the Y-pipe.

I always thought that the intercooler pipe that attaches to the TB was plastic and couldn't be polished. Guess I was wrong!

it is. Greddy offers a after market aluminum elbow that can be polished. Its shorter so you will need another piece to connect it to the IC.

I bet it helps with proper flow

I'm doing the same thing with the Y-pipe in my GTR, to prevent reverse flow from happening and make the merge much nicer.

it's apparently worth 30HP on the skyline, not sure what it's worth on an RX-7 but the Y-pipes are similar so who knows.

yes, it's just a divider. it only goes up a few inches into the pipe. my turbos are non-seq so we figured it might help. next time i have it off i'm going to polish it up and flow-bench it again. can't find the numbers from when we first made it...

no buff wheel was used, the polish mix from Mothers is amazing. With the combination of Mazda's high quality grade of aluminum and final 2000 grit wet sanding leaves the bare aluminum perfect for those like me that don't have access to a wheel.
I'm glad you guys like the result.
