99 spec rear spoiler

I also have the CWR oil coolers and Duane mentioned the prototype ducts a while back....let me know how they fit as I will most likely get them also. However, I plan to check out my friends 99spec oil/brake duct.
That's interesting about the part that ducts for the radiator...doesnt the 93-96 have that molded in?? I'm curious to see what that looks like...please post pics when you get them....
Did Mazdaspeed give you a ETA on those parts?

So what's the consensus here ?
Will the '99 spec rear wing upset the balance of a stock FD touring (no rear wing), esp. at the track ?
I have noticed the rear getting a light in some long sweepers . . .

Whew...talk about back from the dead!
Neil,
If it's getting light in the back now then it's already unbalenced.
I ran with the '99 rear wing (set middle position) with '93 front end but with '99 front lip
and found balence to be quite acceptable. No "floatiness" at high speeds and a well planted feel in the rear in high speed sweeping corners. Now I bet if I had turned the wing up and created a bunch more rear downforce the front end certainly might have started to feel light at speed.
FWIW,
Crispy

Thanks Crispy.
I always try and <search> before posting a NEW thread, just so we get the collective wisdom over time.
Sounds like I need to find a '99 Spec wing in vintage red and a '99 Spec lip (R1 lip only) . . .
I'm entering Turn 9 at Roebling at over 80 mph, and the additional downforce would be much appreciated, and I'm even running race-compound tires (Kumho 710's).
I'm wondering with the added drag, if I'll still be able to hit 130+ MPH down the straight (2,755-ft).

I've driven Roebling and you shouldn't have any trouble continuing to hit 130+
Besides more grip in T9 means higher exit speed which means higher speed at the end of the straight, right?
