99 front spoiler with 93 front end?

How do these parts fit together? I've heard that there are fitment problems, are they bad, or can you make it look right?

All I heard was that they are about 1 1/2" too long on the ends for the FD bumper, and may rub if you have 17-18"s. Has anyone trimmed it down?

I have the 99 spoiler on my '94, and it was not that difficult at all. In fact, the only thing you have to do to make it fit is drill some extra holes where none exist on the 99 spoiler. That's it.

As far as fitment, here are some pic's that show the areas that don't line up with a '94 front bumper. It's pretty minor, but you can notice it as you get closer.

just my opinion, but if you already have a R1 lip dont waste your money on the 99 one.

after comparing the looks of my friends 99 and my 93
the 99 looks kinda bulky and does not fit that great. the 95 down looks better to me. Just my opinion tho

Minor Fitment issues

Yeah, I just installed my 99 lip on my 94 PEP. You have to drill a couple of extra holes. My kinda flared out on the side though. Overall though, it looks a lot better than the stock. When I get home I'll get the camara and post up some pictures.

I have a 99 spec on my CYM, I'll get some pics up for you later.
