Anyone femiliar with the knee pad that comes in the new 7's on the door panel? i saw one before and it looked like it would work on the other side for the us model, or if it doesnt i still want one to have one mimicked.

Not really a good picture because the bottom spoke of the steering wheel is in the way.

yeah that's not the door panel version. The one pictured is an early option - I have it on my 93 type r.

if you go to the mazdaspeed site, they have a pic of the rx8 version (iirc) - that will give you a better idea.

for that i guess, but mainly to help brace yourself during hard cornering.theres one on the door and the console as you see in the pics. it really enhances driver stability between those and the dead petal.

^This thread does certainly beg the question "why?" doesn't it?

But whatever floats your boat. Good luck in tracking one down!

Have you tried a racing harness? Your stock seats already have the cutout to accomodate one, all you need is a harness bar.

could you run a 5 point harness daily with a 4 point rollcage and the harness bar? And i mean daily as in not using a regular seat belt, just the harness.
