Yours has the rear wiper. That would make it a 'normal suspension'. 'stiff suspension' would be an R2.

If you are going to use a dealer, I would advise you contact Ray at Malloy Mazda 888-533-3400. Ray is a big supporter of the rotary community and offers great prices, low priced shipping, and your stuff will arrive very quickly.

Clean title? You gotta be shitting me. You definitely cannot trust Carfax these days.

That looks to be a HELL of a project. That's some serious frame damage, and half the interior looks molded out.

I would make real good friends with Fritz Flynn on this forum, as well as Ray Crowe from Malloy Mazda.

It has a clean title because it avoided being appraised and evaluated. That's definitely a totaled car that would get a salvage title if an adjuster looked at it.

dgeesaman,

I have a VR (93 base) with no wiper and it's not a stiff suspension (R1) so I don't know that this is a definitive single indicator of R1 or non-R1 (or R2 if isn't not a 1993 car).

It looks like a 93, not a 94. It doesn't have a pass side airbag, all 94's and 95's have a pass side airbag.

I just looked again. It's definitely a 93. I can tell by the missing airbag as rx7weee pointed out, as well as the spacing of the thermostat of the A/C, as well as the tan door panels.
