-8an thermostat ok to use with -10an hose/oilcooler ?

as topic,

is this ok ? just given I use the correct adaptor from -8 to -10, are there going to be any flow issues ?

it will constrict the flow. weather or not it will hurt it, idk. probably cheaper to buy a 10an thermostat then all the adapters AN
