5 min into reassembly question :)

Im just now starting to put her back together from a rebuild.

Ive got rotorsports upper and lower IM's, so im swaping everything over to them. What is the sensor pictured? It doesnt fit in my new upper IM. the hole is present on my new one, and threaded, but its much too large for this sensor. ??

and whats up with the additional hole right next to it? my original IM doesnt have that hole. My car is a 95, is this maybe a 93-94 IM with more emissions stuff?

any help would be appreciated!

You should ask the person you bought your "new" UIM why the enlarged and extra hole is for.

The top pic shows you IAT Sensor and its port location

That looks like its for 3/8ths pipe fitting, I just got my haltech IAT senor and that looks about the size I had to make for the sensor to fit.

Ok I fitted the larger hole, and it's 1/2 inch. Unless there's a reason to try and find a bigger aftermarket AIT, I guess I'll just try to get a reducer fitting

I have no idea what the other hole is for yet. Is that location a good place to run anything aftermarket?
