http://www.dragmasters.co.nz - Big drag meet in NZ this weekend- imports vs muscle cars

Just noticed this on the 'about' page... Stuart Lawton is coming with a new twin-turbo quad rotor

Will be sure to get some pics! (and hopefully video)

Here's a few of my photos from today... I think all these cars ran in or under the 10 sec bracket all day. Lawton SP20 blew the diff on last run tho...

FOURRE - 26B quad rotor N/A FD

ROTARY - Lawton 26B quad rotor twin turbo Mazda SP20

Now this wasn't a 4 rotor, but definately won wheelstand of the day!
HELL 3 - 13B turbo RX-3

And for good measure..
Mazsport - 13B turbo FC

Hmmm I never thought you could get such a wide drag radial on the stock rim.

Oh yea could you please post videos of these two 4 rotors if you have them?

Not shure of the size of that tire, but I have put a 265 khumo victo racer on the stock rim. Worked good enough to shatter my diff cassing, havn't had them on since.

Intercooler does look pretty thin! Mazsport FC runs 9's, nothing to sneeze at!

I'll second that, would love to know what issues have information on the Scoot car. Hopefully I can order a back issue

Please post up!!

Now that's a well thought out and engineered engine bay.

It seems like there is a decent rotary "scene" in NZ.

Keep up the great foreign correspondence coming!

Decent....Decent...!?!?!?! DECENT!??!?! IMHO NZ is second to japan when it comes to cars...those guys are absolutely nutty about going extreme on anything, be it sports or cars. (my girl friend defines it liek this, new zealanders got so bored being stuck on an island that they did anything possible to be entertained thus their giant variety of crazy crap to do there). Its the closest thing you can get to japon without having to know any japanese...and they serve sushi too haha!
