4 MSD 6a boxes plus 4 coils. How to hook them up!
Hey I am trying to hook up my 4 MSD boxes and 4 blaster coils to my FD. I have all the wires hooked up from the coils to the boxes orange and black. I also have power going to each of the four boxes. However, I need to know exactly where the WHITE wires connect to.
I have searched and found it to be the Ignitor. Do you connect it to the Ignitor Harness side coming from the chassie and pluging into the Ignitor??? Or do you connect the WHITE wires to the IGNITOR SIDE????
Also what wires do we have to cut or splice (colors) inorder to hook up the Leading and Trailing to the appropriate MSD 6a box.
Thanks

Thanks guys for the answers and posts!!! I checked the electrical schematics and stuff and wired everything up. I would like conformation though if possible?
The rx7 stock has three coils and three signals correct? Two for trailing and ONE for leading.
So I wired up 2 MSD boxes and their white wires together and tapped them into the harness side (yellow/blue wire) on the ignitor LEADING.
Then I wired up the other TWO MSD boxes one to the Trailing Front, and the other to the Rear signals.
I believe this is the correct way to wire them up. The ignitor Leading signal FIRES the 2 MSD boxes (Wired Parallel) at the SAME time correct?? And the Ignitor trailing signals (TWO Front and Rear) fire the other 2 MSD boxes when it needs to fire correct??
Again conformation would be great if I installed them correctly or not. I am a piston and distributor guy (flame suit on) so this setup is kinda new to me.
Anyways again guys thanks for the reply's and answers.

Why would I throw the MSD boxes in the trash they are a proven setup plenty of FD and FC owners use them. Also I still haven't got any conformation on if I installed them correctly? I would appreciate something so that I know that they are hooked up correctly. Thanks.

4 coils
Hello
I'm using MoTeC Rotary CDI and 4 coils.
As shown . stock ECU IG3 port is for Leading.
You should add an ignitor to IG3 port, then 4 channel coils can be used.
I experienced 4 MSD , but 1 MSD CDI requires 7A , then total 28A.
It was not good for the track racing with the stock alternator.
