you could always get a canadian spec one.. goes up to 280km/h

probably cheaper than finding an Re Amemiya one that goes up to 300km/h

Correct me if I'm wrong Ramy; He can get you a 300 km/h speedometer, you can have it reprogrammed for mph if you want. Not sure what his prices are on the speedo. The only way to get the 6 o'clock tach is with the 99 cluster and I think Ramy said they run from $200-300+. You don't have to use the whole cluster, you can remove the tach and install it in your current cluster.

Hope this helps.

Jason, it really gets hairy to throw out prices given so many options. There are:

- Mazdaspeed 300kph SPEEDO
- RE Amemiya 300kph SPEEDO
- 99spec CLUSTER with 6 o'clock tach & stock boost gauge (instead of oil pressure gauge)
- Pre-99spec Mazdaspeed 300kph and 10K rpm tach CLUSTER
- Post-99spec Mazdaspeed 300kph and 10K rpm tach CLUSTER
- Spirit R CLUSTER with 6 o'clock tach & stock boost gauge (instead of oil pressure gauge)
- There are a few other tachs, speedos, and clusters, from companies like FEED, Knightsports, Panspeed, etc.

So as you can see, there are many choices, each w/ it's price range new and used. Bottom line, they're all expensive. You gotta pay to play really.

If you're interested in something specifically, PM me, as price varies w/ product, condition (new or used), mileage on the cluster/speedo, shipping, currency/exchange rate, availability (Spirit R stuff is IMPOSSIBLE to find), etc etc.

Thanks
~Ramy

After seeing this post I checked up on the prices here in NZ.
Apparently one of the Mazda dealerships here are a Mazdapseed agent and have very reasonable prices (better than other performance shops in Aus/NZ quoted me!)

From them a new Mazdaspeed (pre-99) 300km/hr speedometer is NZD$299 (around US$204) ex Japan.

Yea that's about average. I deal w/ Mazdaspeed directly on some items, and that's very close to the price on the speedo. But then you still have to factor in tax, shipping, Customs, then shipping to the customer. It all adds up...

I figured that much Ramy, sorry to put you on the spot there. I forgot there are so many options, but I know where to go if I need one. I am still thinking of things I might need you to get for me. Thanx man.

NP FYI, some of the stuff is hard to come by used, and is really REALLY expensive new (like the $1000 Mazdaspeed clusters). So if you know there's something you def. want in the near future, gimme head's notice so I can keep an eye out for it when it pops up.

Pre-99spec = plug and play. Has all the same gauges our cluster has. And same font. White faced, backlit red.

Post-99spec = NOT plug and play (requires a separate lead for the boost gauge). Has a boost gauge in place of the oil pressure gauge. Font is different. Blue faced, backlit white.
