3 Rotor, triple turbo?
Hey everyone. I had seen a pic somwhere that i cant quite remember where, of a 3 rotor or a regular 13b with 3 turbos. Anyone have this pic laying around or something and would post it? How did they get this thing to work anyway and how did it run?It was ona 3rd gen i believe.
Thanks,
Andres

I remember seeing that and wondering if they were running them sequential or non... Then realizing that a sequential setup with those 3 aftermarket turbos would be damn near impossible... After that thought I had yet another about how pointless that setup would be... Either way I am sure that someone would make a single turbo that would put out enough pressure to power that thing, wouldnt it? Or would less psi per turbo reduce the overall lag? Kinda odd to think about... either way it looked tough...

If you look at the setup, there is one turbo going to each port so it is non/seq. So to answer your questiong Kifflin they would all boost at the same time. I don't that just kind of seems like overkill to me. I don't know.

Yep, Axia of Japan. Blue FD3S with C-west kit on it. VERY SCARY CAR.

sorry i had to cut it in half. i didn't wanna sacrifice resolution to make it all fit in a single "100k or less" pic. besides, in these pics you can actually read the text (a little) considering you can read & understand Nihongo

AXIA Sport, techinically. I know I scanned an article about it a couple of years ago, maybe it was my scan that people were using. I lost my file, though ... my computer recently flipped out.

Looking at those pictures, they've changed it a good bit since I first saw it. It used to be plain blue.
