Alot of people are comparing the Rx7 to a Ferrari.

I'm just asking these questions to see how far off the Rx7 actually is. In terms of speed, quarter times, etc.

And a 20B is a suped up version of the stock Rx7.
So therefore it should be even closer if no surpassing the Ferrari.

BTW. Does anyone know the weight of a Ferrari ??

Don't mean to start trouble but what did you post saying that it has the ability to go 240 mph or even 220 mph? Just someone saying that they heard it's been to 220 mph?? Where were they going 220 mph?? What gear were they in and at what rpm?

It doesnt say on the site.
I just copied and pasted the message above from the site.

It doesnt mention any other mods other than the 20B conversion.

A lot of people can compare any two cars.... you could compare my civic to a Ferrari, but it doesn't mean that my civic can hit 200mph...

why not search and find out for yourself? and in the beggining of this post, you weren't "just asking" you were telling us about how you were going to purchase a 20B FD and get it to 245mph... but now youre just asking right? what happened to that $24k you had just lying around?

the 20B is an ENGINE, not a car... yes a 20B makes the FD faster, but it is not a "suped up version" of the FD, it just means you have a different motor. And who cares about surpassing a damn Ferrari? whats deal with you and wanting to have the ultimate car on the road? i mean yea it would be nice, but honestly, do you need it? like i said before, a stock FD is probably more than enough for you, and there are still few places you could push the limits of a stock FD, let alone an FD with a 20B...

obviously you dont know much about the word SEARCH, but you can do it almost anywhere... online at www.google.com, and would ya believe it, you can even search right here at rx7club! its so much fun, just go to the top right of your screen and look for the button... wow! try it sometime instead of asking for useless info...

oh and p.s... please go away.

Hell no.
U mean to tell me u came into this forum knowing everything there is to know a bout a Rx7 ??

I dont think so.
Half the people in this forum are here because they wanted to learn something. Including me. And i'm not leaving till I learn as much as I can before i get my damn car.

I know the conversion makes it basicly a V12.

But i want to know around what would be the top speed of the car after that conversion alone.

Thanks.
just a point of clarification: i have a running 20b and the firing order is the same as a buick v6, so it is not "basicly" a v12

i never said i knew everything there is to know, but i am saying that atleast i didnt come into this forum making outrageous claims every other day about a new FD i was "about to buy". in the beggining of this post youre talking about gettin a 20B FD, but what about the thread you posted in the Interior/Exterior/Audio forum on July 17th, where you said in your 2nd post, "I am new here. I just got my rx-7. Its a 94' and i love it." (this thread) what happened to that car? did is just magically go away? why do you feel the need to lie about having an FD? i mean, i have no problem with you wanting to learn, but instead of lying, why not start off by saying something like, "hi i'm new here and am interested in purchasing an FD, what should i know?" instead of making up some BS and acting like you have the funds to back it up.

but i still wish you would go away.
