I like to believe Mazda is different than most other car manufacturers out there that are managed by bean counters. They make decisions because it make sense, not because it may help them sell more cars. So I agree with others, the new car is probably going to be named RX-7. I also agree with other people that the new car will not have effect on the FD's value.

You don't have to worry about the still unannounced production of a car hurting your 7's value. The 25 year old rule will do that on its own. The thread title is pretty damn presumptuous though. |
There is absolutely nothing wrong with Mazda releasing this car as a 4th Gen RX7. There's no need to move to the next iteration like they did with the 8. I would like to see the rumored other future rotary come out as a Cosmo or something tho.

If it's a rotary car then they should stick with History..and Not call it Reliable!
