2013 FD Calendar Picture Submittal

I am absolutely in love with the water droplet pictures. I hope to have a photographer do something like that with mine, said and done.
Here is a picture I took while stripping my engine down. It's not exactly the car but I just thought it was a cool picture (but i'm no photographer so that might not mean much.)
Might be able to make use of it somewhere though:

Very nice, love the nt03+m wheels. I have some on an IS300 but they look much better on your FD. I think the storm added to the photos.

I've always loved the NT03+M on nearly any car, I was lucky enough to find a perfect set locally. I agree, the storm did add to the photo's, however it was hard keeping the car clean and time to take a picture between storms

Thanks Zhe! They did a great job shooting the car.
Actually I didn't think to ask him haha. But if he doesn't want me to, the first two can be used because the guy that took those doesn't care lol. I talked to Andrew tonight to see how to go about buying some pics but I haven't looked at them yet. He said all these were free. So I'm not sure how all that goes down. For one, if I buy some of the pics, I believe it should be up to me what I want to do with them, especially since it's my car and I paid for the pics. But maybe that's not how it goes, and if that's the case, I'll get a camera and start shooting my own damn pics. Here are a few more. Andrew did some, and Graham did the others.

It depends on how you purchase the pictures. There are usually different levels of purchasing the pictures and the photographer will specify how the photos can be used. It will be cheaper if you are just buying the pictures to hang on your wall etc, or more expensive if you are buying FULL RIGHTS to the photos to use in publications etc. Typically using a photographer’s image (without consent) in any sort of publication that will be sold is a big no-no. Just because your car is in the image does not give you the right to use the images however you like. Don’t get this confused with posting the images online though, if the photographer posts the image online, then you typically have free range to post the photos where ever you want (provided they are not being used for profit).
Granted, most non-commercial photographers will be happy to let you use their images in a calendar such as this. You just need their consent.
FYI: Speedjunkie, this post is not directed directly towards you. The same thing happens every year with this thread and no one seems to understand this issue. I would prefer to make it very clear, because typically the worst offenders are the ones with the best pictures that deserve to be in the calendar. I would prefer people to be aware and get the correct permissions so that our community can have a quality calendar... and so Collin does not get in trouble by printing images that he shouldn’t be.
I'll contribute:
**all three photos posted above taken by myself and I give full consent to publish them in the 2013 Calendar.

Thanks dude, hit the nail on the head.
Speedjunkie, you have awesome pics, please PM me when you know if you have approval from the photographers. I will need them to email me approval with the pictures attached.
I like making the calendar, but not enough to get sued haha.
