this is very similar to what happened to me when I came back from overseas after 3 months of the car being in storage. I just flushed the coolant, changed the oil and changed the plugs and the problem went away for me after going for a drive. I had a starting issue as well where it sounded the car was only turning 1 rotor then eventually the 2nd rotor will kick on. It did this for a few times then a week later of the car cycling through it came back to normal. As of today I have no problems with the car since it was July of 2009.

I tried the car again yesterday and it sounded fine. I let it warm up and drove it for about an 1/2 hour and everything was ok. I'm going to keep my eye on the coolant just in case and do the Champagne bubble test. Not sure what exactly was wrong with it but it seems to be better. Thank you everyone for your help, it is much appreciated.
