Will 19 technospeeds from 98 Supra fit 93-up rx-7's?
Size of the rims are 19x9 and 19x10

I thinks so, you will definalty have to roll your fenders.

19 are all show....my friend...

find out the offsets for the wheels...

you may like the above said need to roll some fenders (depends on offset) more importantly you may need 2.5" coilovers and m2 trailing arms for clearance....again everything is pretty much offset dependent.

as stated above...offset and tire size matters the most.

but 19s on an FD are strictly for show queens (ala AARotary ) for many reasons.

1. the tires that you need to even come remotely close to stock tire diameters will have sidewalls so low profile, that even the slightest pot whole has the potential to destroy your big, shiny, blingalicious wheel.

2. even if you get the lowest profile tires available, the overall diameters are too big compared to stock. meaning that: a) your speedometer and odometer wil be off. b) it will slow you down since the diameters are larger, hence being the equivalent of having taller gearing. so, while you are lookin cool rollin on dubs (well, almost...one inch shy ) the guy next to you that you are racing just smoked you.

3. 19s are heavy, relatively speaking. Blitz is not known for having light-weight wheels, and to have 19" Blitz wheels will just be icing on the cake. combine that with the taller ratio gears (technically) and you have a much slower car than before.

4. stock brakes will look rediculously puny behind 19" wheels. hell, they look puny behind 18" wheels!

but, if you are never going to race (which is what i am hinted towards since you are looking at 19" wheels )...i dont think you need to worry about weight/tire size.

hope that cleared things up.

2.5"?? More like 1.5" Did you see that grey FD I posted when I went to that car show? He has 19's and is lowered 1.5" I have 2" springs and I think I'm going to have to sell them to fit my 19's.

Yes, it's true that 19's are all show. But they do look really nice on an FD

he is not talking about the drop. 2.5" is referring to the diameter of the coilover. aftermarket coilovers which are 2.5 inches in diameter give you more clearance for larger rims/tires.

Ahh, I see. I don't even think you would need that. I have 19x9 and 19x10. I have more than enough clearance for the tires. I'll have to roll my fenders but that's about it.
