***supra-7****
my supra-7 is so close to being finished. all we have to do is pull the 2jz back out so i can paint the engine bay. then reinstall it and dyno the car to 800whp.
i dont know how to post pics on here BUT if you go to myspace.com and type in my name Dr. Roach i have pics of the car in my profile.
car will be fully done in may-june.

FD + 2JZGTE = WIN! **D

I saw the pics on your Myspace.
Nice looking top-mount turbo ye got there. Seems almost...small for a 2J though.
At my local shop, there's putting a 1J into an FD. The FD had been sitting at the shop for a solid 2+ years, so it's about time SOMETHING went into it.
I'm sorry, but when I look at THIS (points down) pic..the first word out of my mouth is "Dayummmmm!"
Just...don't ever call it a Supra-7, OK? Or I will shoot you. :]
P.S. That's some promising wide-body work you've got on your FD, too. I await the results.

man, that's definitly a fast and reliable combination. my bro and few other friends have 94+ supra tt's. the engine are strong against boost and last quite a while. I just wonder how the FD handles the torque and weight balance change. SP engineering has a pretty tight supra-7. http://www.sp-power.com/media_turbomag_1201.htm
btw, i'm a rotary fan. the only motor i'd swap in my fd is a 20B , but hey, its a preference thing. i'm sure someone will/have put S14 or mustang engine in a FD

smarter than that
the hood does fit. stock with no mods done. you get that when you build ur own k member.
and whoever said the turbo was small for a 2jz...haha that is a garrett gt42-102 good for 1250hp!
and yes all you haters can hate away. its all good im a grown *** man so you wont hurt my feelings. just dont bitch when i spank that *** in the 1/4 or on a autocross. there is only a 100lbs diff from the rotary to the 2jz and thats not **** for a good sus. setup! the wheels and tires are 18x9.5 front and 18x13 rear. car is wide body

props to you for creating a new hybrid.I am sure it took a lot of $$ and hardwork.i hope it runs up to your expectations. My spin on this is that a fd is a amazing machine with or without a rotary in it,although, i prefer the rotary.

You get props from me man! My two favorite cars in 1! I think the combo just makes a beast of a car. Can't wait to see more pics and some time slips when she is done...
How long have you been working on it?

yes
i will be pissed if i cant hit 9's in the car. a 9.99 would be just fine. the guy who is putn the motor in for me tells me the car will be damn near impossible to drive after 600whp because of all the tq. and at 800+ he tells me i need to buy a fire suit. in many ways im kinda freaked out about the car. but it should be fun, just hope i can keep it on the road/track

working
i have been working on this car for a little over 2 1/2 years. the car was made a wide body with everything fully moulded in. and repainted black.
the body work alone was worth 7k but i know the body shop owner and i got a bad *** deal.
i did evrything right on the car. it was very $$$$ but worth it to me!
im prob 30k into the car right now and its not finished yet

where
Hey Roach, I can't find the car at myspace.com. Either way, keep us posted. The only reason I got away from turbo rotary engines was because of the high maintenance, at least you have a strong engine in there.
