**BOOST LEAK** I think.. Please help!

**BOOST LEAK** I think.. Please help!
Hey, when im driving down teh road and I try to get it above 3k rpm, when the car hits the second turbo you hear a ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ sound lik ethe turbo is spinning out of control.. Sound really bad.. Please give me some input on what it could be.

Is the sound the only bad thing that's happening after turbo 2 has prespun?
Check your waste gate. If its lost its normal amount of spring tension for some reason, you could be leaking boost. Even if you're not losing enough to feel significant power loss, you could still be leaking enough to make the sound. If that's not the case, check your turbo's housing and fan blades. If you still can't find it, it could just be one of those things where you have to get a buddy to come rev the engine for you while you listen around the engine compartment for where the sound might be coming from. It could be anywhere between the turbos and the exhaust. Kind of a pain, but that's where the boost could be leaking. I doubt its from the exhaust side- cat and back, unless its something with the exhaust turbines. Let me know if you find out where the sound's coming from. Good luck.
