Also how are you geting past all the sterring problems thay had. They couldnt use the stock sterring rack, and had make there own. From what I heard of the yellow one it drove like **** and was just a pretty show car with a ugly hood. I hope yours turn out better.

good engine but im not a fan...ls1 i can stand just because i do love those engines...but still.

i read an article in some magazine where someone is doin an rb26 swap?

all thats well and good...im not a fan at all. heres what i have a REALLY big problem with. they are popping up. sr20.

falken has that one car im sure most of u have seen. its like 320h or something that is weak and just retarded if u ask me.
also when i was at the falken show last summer some guy there had a non running 7 with an sr20. i was like man wtf are u thinking?? he looked at me like i was the one on crack haha...damn.

at least the jz will put down some crazy *** power...

interested in pics of just the subframe.

a few questions also, did you move the steering rack? (hope not) if so how are you correcting bumpsteer?
how much room do you have between the passenger side strut tower and the motor?

are you using the getrag tranny? if so, how are you mounting it? stock mount with adaptors? or custom mount?

thanks,

Nathan

nice project ya got there...

cant go wrong with that motor... I had a supra and beat the crap out of it for 2 years as a single turbo = no problems. the first month I had my stock rx7 the motor popped driving in 5th gear. go figure.

Yeah tell me about it. Whenever i go cruise with my friends who at least 3 of them have supras, im always in the back cause im afraid to push it as much as them. They could just boost and boost and boost and everything is fine but then i boost, then the idle will get funky or ill be the only one with my hood popped after the cruise cause heatsoak. It sucks in a way.

engine

yes its the getrag 6 speed. and all the mounts are custom. we didnt move the steering rack. and there will be no bump steer. that **** is all a myth. sp were the first ever to do it so they ran into prob after prob. and they did tons of **** the hard way! like the wireing. why didnt they just toss all the stock **** and go with the aem like i did. saves all that piggy back **** that they ran into so many prob with.
plus bump steer is when your weight in the front is much to heave for the dynamics of the car. AND LIKE IV SIAD B4..... this engine is only 100lbs more than a stock one, and ive taken off much more than 100lbs of unwanted **** from under the hood.
