I was playing with Subaru Foresters for a good 8 to 10 years and was importing a lot of STI parts from Japan.
So dont have a lot of rotary stuff. Only been to one meet. Well Corona screw things for a couple of years here

I intro my car in the very first post of this thread. It is Highlight Silver which, from what I read, was only used on the 1999 FD.
I believe there were four different silvers used throughout production, possibly not including the Spirit R Titanium Grey metallic (25G)
Nonetheless, our cars are pretty identical, except I have been steadily adding a good part of the parts/options catalogues to mine.
We have a relatively large number of FD in BC. We are able to import JDM once they are 15 years old.
The initial surge of cars had a very high attrition rate and in recent years the import of FD has slowed considerably, due to competition in bidding in Japan.
Nevertheless, considerable effort is now being made to preserve the remaining RHD and LHD cars.
My estimate is we have maybe 300 FD locally. Many cars that have been squirrelled away. for many years, are now, once again, seeing the light of day.
Wish we had the same level of preserved earlier rotaries like you have in Wollongong.

@nd 2022 VCMC AutoX May 12 Mission
WE had three RHD entered in the VCMC AutoX at Mission, B.C., Saturday. At least two did very well in a day which transitioned through rain showers to clear skies across the 7 hour event. 86 cars participated, without mishap, in all, making 497 runs.
[Correction: Event was May 14th.]
1996 RZ with his Firebird pal waiting for first runs at AutoX May 14th Mission.
Queueing for first runs....All three Westcoast Rotary FD were in the Street Modified class assigned the least favourable Pax factor.

AutoX Action May 14 2922
Member took some great shots during the peak rainy period at AutoX Mission last Saturday.
Zelda stays flat through the final chicane rockin' Yokohama (DNA) Evo all seasons on Type R Bathurst R Showa Shocks with Tien S Tech graduated springs.
1996 RZ shows form through the opening back straight slalom sections.Michelin Pilot Sport AS3 + tires on Spirit R Bilstein shocks. Looks like photographer caught the squat as driver shifted to second, after negotiating the "Chicago Box" right out of the timing gate.

Thought that was an interesting new type of brace, but its the light bezzle.
Nice new light. Should pick out the Roos at 200 yards on a dark night.
Local guy puts these projector lights together.
He has sold sets to the Australia and elsewhere.

Hahahaaa, forgot the bezel was in the pic actually.
had friends cars written off by roo hits.
I've hit a wombat in my RX3 back in the day, like smackinging a 20 gallon drum of muscle.
Those lights look mad.
I'll be interested to see how long these LED last and quality of light. Were a mid range unit

For everyone who is rocking the RHD, you might want to keep an eye on this thread. Conveniently stickied so it won't get lost.

I already tackled the Eunos Cosmo, so the juggernaut is already out of the way...

1000 cars is insane
That would be such an incredible diversity of cars, you get a lot of police supervision and harassment?
we have found lately that undercover cops are going g to meets and drags and taking pictures of cars and number plates then later issuing a notice to front for inspection.....sad
And I think someone forgot to flick the summer switch here this year as well but trying to make up for it with decent winter 😅

Its deminishing returns for our police at the moment.
Most of the overtly tuned cars have already been parked or have fled to the suburbs.
The Spanish Banks meets are pretty high end, with a good mix of lawyers, no doubt.
When it is not cloudy the sunlight is out to almost 10:00 pm these days.
We are making a run up the Sea-to-sky Highway this evening.
One of the most beautiful drives.

And one of the most treacherous. Drive back down in a howling rainstorm was a bit hairy.
Due to the worldwide shortage of line paint, the lane dividing lines were near invisible from lack of recent repainting.
.
Porteau Cove, Sea-to-Sky Highway (No. 99) , British Columbia
Rain put a damper of last Friday's meet at Market Crossing, but still got 6 RHD out (LHD stay home in the rain).
1996 RZ (Black), 1997 Type R (Silver), 1999 Type RB (S-P), 1999 Type R (White), Spirit R, 1999 Type RB (Innocent Blue Mica)
Crowd gathers around the Spirit R, market Crossing, June 17, 2021

New wheels set up for the summer. Excuse the horrible paint matched fender.
My RE-Amemiya kit production got pushed back another month for the CF ****, so this set up will have to do for now.
