Thank you! I should have a 99 spec front bumper, RE-A lip, fenders, and possibly that 99 spec wing for sals once it all comes off.

Th lower lip on the J seems quite different. But that may be to differentiate the copy from the original.

Close up of the front centre of your front lip, please.

I wonder if the difference is just paint.

Make sure you plan to run up to Abbotsford for our Seven's Day July 10, 2022!

All the goods I just bought won't be here for 3 months then I have to fit them and repaint the car. If I come up it would be how it currently is. Just RE-A lip and diffuser. But maybe I'll have to make the trip

BC Panspeed GT2001

Looks like the "bump" part may be decoration or a separate lip protector.

Panspeed early/zenki bumper

Wonder why VIS called it Js. It definitely looks like a panspeed or very similar.

as seen here, the small black “canard” pieces were bent plastic, I ended up removing them. But behind them, just at the wheel arch, they riveted some black cover. Once I get it all apart, ill see if it has the side vents like the panspeed!

compare to post 1 here

https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generation-specific-1993-2002-16/purpose-side-vents-aftermarket-front-bumpers-716528/

thanks for checking it out red

VIS has a replica of the Veilside combat kit. They give it a random other name.

My guess is that would be a pattern for their other replicas.

Here is a pic from a seven's day in Japan. The wide variety of kits is amazing. It is a wonder we find any unmodified examples.

Sorry about the small size.

Picture did not copy well. I will try to get a better copy.

BC AutoX Day At Mission

Sun came out for the warmest day of the year so far. Perfect day for first AutoX meet of the year.

(I came 71st out of 72. Defeated a Chevy Bolt, haha.)

Moving the goods out at Deltaport.

Open perimeter roads made for some fine cruisiing under dramatic skies this morning.

Hey People,

Redbul invited me to shared a couple of picks.
Imported this last year and waiting on compliance plate so have been just fixing stuff and replacing this to satisfy my OCD.
Is not going to be a outrageous build but will attempt to keep it more or less OEM with some performance goodies to help it along and keep it cool

Fantastic win! (* I may be biased.)

BTW, what is that silver car in the background of picture #3?

Keep us posted on your advancements!

Definitely won't be a stranger......

Pretty sure the silver beast is a Mitsubishi GTO from the 90's

Another unicorn, had several chances to pick one up! GTO/3000GT (do i dare include the Stealth too? Lmao) Fascinating cars with some interesting history, had crazy tech, but also had a lot of reliability gremlins, and that's coming from a rotor head. But seen some that were monsters

Nice FD Blackduck, really dig it.

Its fun seeing so many JDM cars out and about. Had a nice Evo III/IV and a Silvia s14 that travelled to america with my FD.

I don't think I have ever seen one around where I am, I do notice that we are starting to get a lot more sweet imports now they are aging and the laws let us bring in a better variety.
USA from our view had always been a big V8 consumer and never really embraced the JDM stuff. From what I see that has been changing.
The Jap stuff would have been cheap around there ?
My first car was a Mazda Cappella and my second I built an RX3 coupe. Had a 4 door RX2 and a series 2 RX7.
Family cars for a long time so now a chance to get an FD so thought why not.
I love playing with them

That’s awesome, the oldest car i had was a first gen fb. My buddy just picked up a REPU though, should be a fun project

Yeah the import scene isn't small, but nowhere near the v8 muscle cars (which I also love btw, have lots of old timer friends with some pristine classics)

Just can’t bring myself to let go of the RX-7s either
