Thanks Rich for the deal on the RE-Amemiya steering wheel. The green stitching ties in nicely with the Takata green. What's the story on the Briide Nipponese Edition? Fat White Americans canz fit? Rishie at AutoRnD got the Bride Japan edition seats to me for the best price online! The Taiwanese knocking off the Bride seats motivated Bride to start the Bride Japan edition which are FIA certified seats. It seems Bride of Japan is actually going back and certifying the old seat designes as well; so if it has legitimate FIA tag on it, its a real Bride. Bride has opened up its distributorship as well, so its not just Tee's USA. Some good things have come as a result of the knock offs! The Bride Japan line isn't really any bigger, but they do offer some seats models in larger (and smaller!) sizes. Big seat don't fit well in the FD though. Btw Ian, that interior would be perfect with a different/lower shift knob IMO bud Yeah, I still have a Nardi knob in from matching the other steering wheel. I actually plan to put in a huge ungainly slot machine looking thing where the shift knob is. https://www.rx7club.com/attachments/...ules-int-4-jpg |
oooh nice, those takata belts look great! Getting ready to order one of the fia belts in the same color!

That engine bay is looking very functional and sexy Gordon!
My only nitpick is the tea strainers on the velocity stacks should go. They have a high ratio of material to open area and little surface area, so they flow much less than a proper pleated media or open cell foam over a reinforcing structure filter. The added bonus of properly filtered intake air is your side seals will last more than a day. The Mazda factory effort found out at Daytona in 1978 that you cannot skimp on air filtration on a rotary as the RX-3 at dust and died hard. https://www.rx7club.com/attachments/...ules-fd-br-jpg |

What's up with all the stickers? What feed parts do you have on it? They would look better without the wings, but hey there your cars. :dunno: |
The RE Amemiya wing on the red FD looks pretty good. I like the Carbon support mount on the C west wing but just not a huge fan of the spill plates.

Oh, all those clean cars :(
Got to see my 7 earlier today, it has been sitting, with no engine, and parts just piled up inside, in about eight months now. I REALLY hope to get the car running in the next month! http://peecee.dk/uploads/052013/2013-05-12_13.35.04.jpg http://peecee.dk/uploads/052013/2013-05-12_13.34.53.jpg |
Nadeem, IMO your FDs would really benefit from some properly spec'ed aftermarket wheels :)

Nice upgrade though, especially over the stock (broken) solenoids. https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.n...08784450_o.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-h-a.akamaihd.n...27709236_n.jpg And a shot after my buddy and I got done detailing her. |
