^^Reason behind the rubber pieces attached to the leading and inner edge of your AD9 hood (bonnet) vents?

Very nice ride BTW :)

Was about to ask the same question.

Feed Me: Nice to see another post from you; your car has always looked GREAT! I of course LOVE the new RE-Amemiya pieces you added, and really like the wheels!

They create a low pressure area behind them to aid the extraction vents.

The leading edge and inside edge where airflow splits to go over the windshield or down off the back of the front fenders will have high velocity air and so are the best spots.

I'm not 100% but I think its to create little bit of air deflect at speed in turn better air pull from the vents.

Thanks for you kind comments, as the guys above have said the carbon fibre trim on the bonnet deflects the air allowing more air through the egine bay and out the bonnet vents.

Thanks. A flattering shot taken by a local car guy who's also into photograpy. But that still means alot given what you drive.

Feed Me: is that an authentic AD9 hood? I'm having a similar issue with mine lining up with the front bumper. (a smaller gap in the middle than towards the ends)

why are there so many FDs with terrible hood to bumper gap? how hard is it to match two curves?

Any reason in particular you choose to go with pepboys bedazzled RX-7 lettering?
*Stay positive, stay positive* it looks ummm, interesting?

Sticking with the BB theme :egrin:
