3rd gen RX-7

It has been years since I have been on this forum. I use to have an 88 and an 89 non turbo RX-7's. I am finally in the market to purchase another one and I want my dream car, a 93-95 3rd Gen RX-7. I have been checking out prices within the last couple weeks and it hard for me to find something modded or stock that isn't under 20k. I guess I'm just really old and I remember when they were around 13k and that was modded. Have they just become that rare and expensive?

Yes, the prices are going up. I went ahead and pulled the trigger in May of this year. I had 3 second gens, and like you i wanted a 3rd gen ever since they came out.

There have been several threads about it lately. They are likely several pages back in this section.

You can find FDs from $3K to $30K (and higher!)... it's just going to be a factor of mileage, condition, timing and a bit of luck. The days of $13000 for a 30K car are long gone (what I bought my first FD for). But a lot of nice examples are one step up around $18K.
