If you worry about that, you should never drive a sport car.

13-15 / 18-20

When I first got the car I was doing

16-17/22-25

That lasted for about a month and then I got used to driving faster...

Think about neo's comment...

I usually get 12-14 mpg in the city. Surprisingly, I got 22 mpg during a highway only, 80mph trip. Did about 330 miles non-stop and when I filled up, it came out to 22mpg - my best ever!!

Like someone else said, don't worry about economy - wrong car. Also, don't skimp on gas - 93 or 94 Octane only.

21.4 Average. That's with a good bit of highway driving and it is my daily driver so getting on the boost doesn't happen as much. If it is your second car you will be more likely to drive it for fun and get happy with going fast. I would guess my mileage is 18 city, 28 highway and maybe 10 at best at the track.

I think it gets what the manufacturer says,
but thats only in casual cruising.

If you go full throttle, I think it drops greatly,
to like 11.

I get 14-17 in city 20-21 on highway.

I disagree with disregard on mileage. I think all street cars should have 'decent' mileage. Decent is a relative word of course. For example, I wouldn't keep my FD is it gets 8-10 MPG.

Besides fuel cost, environment and natural resource concerns, I also wouldn't want to fill-up every 150 miles (on hiway roadtrips) and be on the lookout for gas station when I am only 1/2 empty. I definitely wouldn't want to haul a 40 gal tank to extend my range either.

You may have a 400 HP speedster but if it gets 10 miles to the gallon and you drive it on the street, what is the point? I need a combo of sensible gas mileage and performance.
I have the perfect mod for more gas milage. Turn DOWN the boost. Everything in life is a balance. You've got to give to get.

I get ~17 with mixed city and highway w/some traffic. I'm sure I could get 20+ if I only went on the highway, but I haven't tested that. I managed to get about 8 one time when I spent a full tank ONLY going up and down this one mountain road giving rides .

I get 11-12mpg.

I agree with the other guys. If you want a "Sports Car", then fuel mileage should not be a concern.

If it is, then you don't want a sports car.

10-12 with your foot in it (city). 15-17 if driven normal. Better on the highway. If you want better mileage, keep your foot off the floor and the secondary injectors off.

Personally, I don't drive the car much and I like the 'pedal to the metal'...

I think getting your injectors cleaned would greatly improve gas mileage. Spending $80 to have it professionally cleaned or pulling off the injector to have them cleaned by a shop would improve both performance and economy.

Are you all ready to be shocked? Just remembered that I hadn't posted my track-mileage. During a recent stint at VIR, I averaged 6mpg. I could actually watch my gas-gauge needle move down.....

Again - don't fret it if a stock FD only gets 12 mpg - that's what my car got when it was stock - city driving only. Of course, if you're only getting 150miles to a tank, driving on the street, something may be wrong.

My new ported engine with PFC gets around 17.5 MPG in Houston dayly driving. This include some freeway, stop and go, and at lease one 100+mph run up the beltway 8 ramp going towards 59 south.

The older ported engine with XS ecu got 15.5 MPG.

I agree with Chuck. With a mix of city/highway and many runs to triple digits, I used to get ~12mpg stock. The Power FC instantly bumped it up to 17, and w/the current setup (to include ported motor and midpipe) I get ~20. Crazy, huh ?
