When I went this route I knew I would face alot of unhappy people, so I prepared myself for the criticism.

I like the "hella flush" cars but that ^^^^ looks ugly, maybe you need some bigger flares like some one else said but idk.
Maybe it would look good if you had a full widebody bc those rims looks way to big for the stock body even with wide panels.imo

Wow, that is some serious offset fail right there.
I seriously don't get the stretched rubber mentality. I like to drive my FD fast, and corner hard. Thats what the car was made for.

Make an assessment...

That's it. I'm getting some 55 gallon drums. I'll get ahold of Michelin or some other tire company to make me some 805/25/30s to fit it. LOL
Yeah in that pic it definitely looks like it needs a drop in the back, maybe the other pics just weren't clear enough.
So those are Chargespeed fenders or what?

20B 3 Rotor I like the way the car is coming along, what sizes and offsets are your wheels?
I also agree that the hella-flush(where the hell did "hella" even come from..it just sounds stupid) thing can get old and yea its not completely "different" but for FD its a change . it gets old seeing every other FD with a burnout kit and CCW's .. or C-west kit and +35-45 offset mesh wheels of some sort, I love stock body ,a nice drop, clean paint as much as the next guy... Ok, its not completely "functional" for what the FD was made for, but it doesn't matter cause 85% of the people driving them aren't going to do anything but parking lot pimp anyway. Its the internet, don't take anything to heart 20b. Opinions are opinions.

I have always been a fan of deep dish wheels but I have to agree that the whole stretched tire buisness is an acquired taste to which I do not have. To me it looks like the owner couldn't afford the extra 2" of rubber.
But, it's your car and you do what you want...It's all personal taste.

THE REAR WHEELS DON'T FIT!

Welcome to the Rx-7 club.
yes yes yes... a tad more lower with offset that fits the fenders and it will look good.. Fixed
Whatever size wheel 20b is using up front would probably be close to perfect for the rear.
not every one goes to the the track and needs a track ready fd....or a road worth one FIXED
-Dan (as I type this from the cabin (thermal oven) of JhnRX7's FD crusing around 80mph headed north through Florida)

I just wish you would have done that setup on something like an $800 240 not an RX-7. Makes the car look pretty cheap. I look at the 7 as a classy sexy japanese supercar that can stand next to any other japanese supercar. Do NSX or supra guys do things like this?
With that said, its your car and everyone is different, but you already know this is pretty extreme! If you are proud of it what the hell.
My wheels are standard old school fit, but I feel they don't harm the look of the car, my color you might not agree with.
