Nay, be different, I like the direction you were going in. 99 spec always looks like it is smiling to me, then again I am probably one of a very few amount who doesn't think the 99spec front is gods gift to the rx7 world.

sorry i meant 99 spec wing, cuz my friend has an authentic 99spec wing with carbon sides on it that hes not using.

and he offrered to trade me his wing for my skirts... im going to keep my 93 front,, i like it, but i might get a custom lip in carbon made because i want a more aggressive lip

heres a pic of the rear

Hey everyone!

I'm new to the forums, except for occassionally trolling through the pics of people's FDs and drooling. But I'm not new to RX-7's - I had an FC for two years when I was at University, until this:

I've finally made the plunge and decided to buy an FD for myself for my birthday
After looking at a few local ones here in Vancouver, I decided to get my friend who imports cars from Japan to hook me up, and bought a '92 JDM FD.

So here's my new baby, bought and mostly paid for, but still in Japan. I won't get to touch her for another 3 weeks or so:

I have to say, I am not a fan of the MS-02 wheels, but they look to be in good shape, so I'm sure I can sell them to someone who does like that style.

I love the ms-02's sell them to me. The ms-02's remind me of the speed racer wheels.

mrkyr: you can have right hand side driver in Canada? or you have to convert ? man I wish we could import car direct from Japan in the States. I would import a Spirit-R in no time.

Question. The 99specs (J-spec) are the opposite to what you have on now. What are those called in the picture......93spec?

Yeah, we can have RHD. However, the Canadian gov't only allows imports (except from the US & Mexico) that are 15+ years old. So I was limited to looking at '92-94 at the moment for an FD... otherwise I'd have been looking at a newer model myself.

This ones fairly stock, and has only 76,000km (47,000 miles).

Yeah... definitely. I'm going to get the whole thing repainted anyhow, so I'm not that concerned about that. I just have to decide on a colour

And I have no idea what's so special about RHD, it doesn't matter much to me either way. I would have been more than happy with LHD if I had been able to find one in this shape for even close to the same price.
