incorrect - its a lot lot lighter!! the bonnet is now fibreglass - lighter, the wings are now fibreglass - a lot lighter!, the whole tailgate is now fibreglass as opposed to metal and glass 9windows are now perspex) a lot lot lighter, the stock bumper are a lot lighter and the rear arches are cut out and now fibreglass. the only extra pannels are the door skins and they are very very light. each of my wheels despite the size are lighter than stock ones!. plus i saved a lot of weight under the bonnet removing load of the stock set up.
so if you think that a veilside fortune kit is heavy............. think again!!!!

I could of sworn I read that kit added a good amount of lbs to the car..
I tried to search for the exact weight of the kit again but I'm finding it difficult to find the number on any site.
Have you weighed the car since the kit has been installed? I mean before taking anything else off the car..
I still think its too much money for a kit used for racing or street. I still stand w/ my opinion that it's a show car kit

Here's mine. Huge pics!!
Still a work in progress. FEED skirts and the "other" RE diffuser to go on this weekend.
Sorry if the pics are huge, I'm not to witty with the computer.
Cord is for the battery tender.
My anti-shiny engine bay. More to come later.
Tunes
Interior
My attempt at photography.
Again, I'm sorry for the Godzilla sized pics.

Thanks fellas. I never really posted many pics here, but now that I know how......
1QWIK7: With the exception of the front bumper (sold to me by str8ryd), the paint is all original. I like to think of myself as a novice/amateur detailer, which helps me keep the paint the way it is. I will admit though that there are a few rock dings here and there.
I too love the stereo and how it turned out. I just hope it did not add too much weight. Ah, who cares.
