I daily drove my FD for two years and put over 25,000 miles on it before I decided to have it repainted and put on a harsh suspension for trackdays that no longer made that feasible. The only problems I had were the y-pipe gasket going out and the stock clutch couldn't handle the extra torque the motor was putting out. If you know what you're doing I think they can be reliable, but it's no Honda that you can just beat on...

In theory you're supposed to turn it on to stay visable when it's really, really foggy. It's about as bright as the brakelights.
In practice people just forget about them completely. Or turn them on in heavy rain resulting in a blinding glare from the spray behind the cars.

hehe...i thought Yamaguchi was closer than it is. Hiroshima is between us, i dont know if i could be that determined to go that far. But if your ever driving east, send me a pm.
