alot of problems occur when running a good bit more then stock boost. does your fd have an upgraded ignition system, better fuel pump, larger injectors, heat resistant vacuum hoses, upgraded turbos? does it have low miles, or has it already needed to be rebuilt? if you dont have the proper support mods for running 15psi then your wallet might be in a world of hurt.
i am sorry for coming across so negative, but it might be wise to get a boost controller and turn it down to 10psi for a while(you can still get it tuned for 15psi). that way you can become more familiar with how to sustain a some-wat reliable setup. rx7's arnt the best car to experiment with considering the high price of parts if something goes wrong.
if you have previously owned one and know what your doing then completly disregard wat i said in the above.^^ i'm just trying to look out for ya...

I know plenty about these engines guys :-)
- its been rebuild before I had it and the compression test comfirmed it.
The engine has been fully looked over by the best in the uk
I has stock fueling and 15psi is very safe when tuned properly.

aharada is lucky he can squeeze those suckers up there. my car wouldnt have any part of that. I tried and failed, but mine is really really low in the front. ha nd r springs. and bilsteins. Does anyone know of a set of spings that lower the back a little more and are a little stiffer? mine sits higher in the back than than the front.

1 bar equals 14.5psi and mine is running just under = 13-14psi
14psi running on a Apexi PFC and with the right cooling systems is safe.
I'm now wondering what Wbhp you guys are running on stock fueling and stock turbos??? Cos I thought 280rwhp+ was good - Well it is here in the UK Lol

oh yeah - what octaine fuel do you guys get over there?? we have 99 ron, if you only have 97 then this might be why you might be worried with raising the psi.
In Japan they are all running 16-17psi on stock twins (if there r still RX's over there that is standard) cos lets face it they love there tuning

i dont know where your getting this information from. but when running more than 12 psi, the fuel system SHOULD be upgraded. an ignition amp is also important to have to prevent ignition break up and detonation. please dont be like alot of fd owners and screw up a great car.

These are the guys who did all the work - Carl is the most wel known rx tunner in the uk - I'm sure he wouldnt let me out without being 100% safe. He said he could have gone more but this is a safe level for a strong engine

Very nice from the colour to the bodykit to the wheels. In my opinion i think you should raise the rear and not drop the front.

Looks sweet, as all FD's are. Seems like you've just washed it, do you have some pearl in the paint job? Appears so from the sunlight reflection on the front passenger side?
And welcome to USA club, there are great "blokes" here with expert advice.

Well i'd just T-Cut it all back as it has all original paint on the car and when in japan the sun dulls the paint. So i'm guessing its just mazda black and no pearl (could be wrong - it does happen alot with me hehe)
It looked crap before so i was really happy with the result :-)

Welcome to the club!
Personally I think the best look is with the original R1 spoiler, and I'm not just saying that cuz I have an r1
We all have our own tastes, and I don't care for the 99 spoiler either. Guess that saves me some money since I won't have to buy one at all.
Happy Turkey Day everyone!
